Attendance Policy

effective January 1, 2011

Rule #1:   Attendance will begin Monday, January 2nd and end Monday December 31st. It will include Monday evenings, Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Rule #2:  Start time for the winter months will be 5:00 PM for Monday and Wednesdays.  It will be posted via e-mail and website if start time changes to 5:30 in the summer months. During the winter months the start time for Saturday will be 7:30 AM.  This time does change to 7:00AM in the spring and will be posted.  The idea is to have one start time instead of two. 

Rule#3:  There will be no attendance point taken for the Saturday of the Bears Of Blue River in August and the Mini 500 in May.

Rule#4:  If your name appears on the attendance list you can receive an attendance point for any Energy2Action running event that you race (you must be a registered racer and finisher of the event!) without showing up that Saturday at the circle. You can get regular attendance point by doing the normal Saturday morning run if you are unable to attend race.

Rule#5:  The attendance is supposed to be friendly competition and added motivation, but it needs to be organized in a manner that is manageable.  If you need to run earlier or later just be at the starting point at the designated time.  Stop by to say hello as that is the point of a running group.  Then you will be counted and can either start, finish, or continue on your run.     

Rule#6: Be safe.  Be active.  And make you runs count for something.
